CS 288: AI for Social Impact

In this course, we will discuss the successful deployments and the potential use of AI in various topics that are essential for social good, including but not limited to health, environmental sustainability, public safety and public welfare.

 

CS 96: System Design Projects: Machine Learning for Social Impact

In this course, teams of 3-5 students will work with real partner organizations to use machine learning techniques on a directly impactful project. Students will learn how to effectively explore data, create and iterate on real models, communicate and work with external partners, and incorporate ethics into their technical work.

 

 

CS 108: Intelligent Systems: Design and Ethical Challenges

This course explores the use of artificial intelligence to tackle difficult social problems, and considers how to address ethical challenges that arise through appropriate design techniques.
